Top 5 Favorite Fruits

My absolute favorite fruit is a peach! To be specific, a Red Haven or Canadian Harmony peach picked right off the tree on a hot summer day.
Strawberries are a close second.  You can’t help but eat more then you pick!
When I was younger, I was terrified of pineapples because they were served in the lunchroom at school.  They were yellow and slimy and I was for certain they were disgusting.  However, years later I got up the courage to eat a slice of pineapple.  Love at first taste! I love pineapple…fresh pineapple, canned pineapple...I love it all.
Apples have to be on this list of favorite fruits because I really can say I eat an apple a day.  I live on a fruit orchard so there is always an endless supply of apples!  I don’t think I could ever get sick of apples.
Bananas! Bananas are in my cereal every morning!

Top 5 Favorite Cartoons

The Simpsons is my all-time favorite cartoon.  Can’t really give a reason why, I’ve just watched it ever since I can remember.
Bobby’s World is another favorite cartoon.  I can’t remember one morning before school when I didn’t watch it… “don’tchya know!”
“Ride on the Magic School Bus!”  Ok I have a confession to make.  I watched this cartoon every morning before going to high school.
The Flintstones is another favorite cartoon from my childhood.  I still love watching it!
Another favorite cartoon is The Wild Thornberries.  I love adventure and I love animals, so of course I love this cartoon.

Top 5 Travel Destinations

South Africa is on my bucket list because I really want to go on a safari.  Australia is another top destination I would love to visit someday…not too sure how I’m going to afford it. haha.  Greece is also in the top of my list because my love of art history.  New  Zealand is another place I would absolutely love to visit.  I am crazy about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and where it was filmed…such pretty landscape throughout the entire films.  And finally, Ireland.  It’s cliché I know but I can’t help it…Gotta love the accents!  Ireland will be crossed off my list of places to visit here very soon!  My roommate and I decided to have one last hurrah before entering the real world!

Top 5 Favorite Foods

Potato chips are my all time favorite food!  I can go through an entire bag of original Layes chips easily.
Now, I hate vegetables, however there is one vegetable I will eat…green beans!  Haha.  Green been casserole has to be at every family function or holiday!
Beef and noodles is another food that I absolutely love.  This meal reminds me of my grandmother because it is what she would make for lunch for all the grandkids.  Growing up on an orchard is exhausting…running away and hiding so we don’t have to work was very common and my grandmother would always be our safe haven J and where we could sneak off to if we got hungry.
Candy! If you know me, then you know I’m a candy freak.  I’m pretty sure I get most of my daily calorie intake from candy.  However, NOT chocolate…bleh!
Spaghetti is another favorite food.  It’s probably on my personal menu at least 3 times a week!

Top 5 Favorite Nintendo Games

Of course Mario Brothers is at the top of the list.  I could probably beat the entire game in less then and hour or so.   Duck Hunt is definitely on my list of favorites.  However I can’t help but cheat and get a perfect score!  Haha. Super Mario 3 is another favorite because it reminds me of the dentist.  Yea I’ll admit…I love the dentist.  And every time I go to the dentist, I sit in the waiting room and play Super Mario 3.  Ninja Turtles is another favorite Nintendo game.  However I can never seem to finish it alone.  So much easier with a second turtle on your side! Haha.  Bugs Bunny is another favorite.  Its also another easy one to terminate!

Top 5 Favorite Movies

I’m gonna start with Anastasia.  I absolutely love this animated musical film!  The music and the story!  I remember watching this movie over and over with my grandmother and sing every song to the top of my lungs.
The patriot is another favorite movie because Mel Gibson is one of my favorite actors, along with Heath Ledger.  I really enjoy fictional movies based on real historical events.
Biodome is another favorite movie because you can’t help but laugh or role your eyes at Pauly Shore’s funny (and at times, annoying) personality.
The Sound of Music is a classic and I could watch it over and over!  Sorry to those who have to deal with me watching it all the time!
Finally, The Graduate.  This film is hilarious!  Poor Ben (Dustin Hoffman) and his confusion over the transition from college to the real world. Such a great film and wow…Simon and Garfunkel…the same damn song 6 times?  Haha.

Top 5 Favorite Board Games/ Card Games

Euchre is my top favorite.  I could play it for hours!  And who doesn’t like monopoly? I’m always the shoe.   13 Dead and Drive is such a fun board game!  I haven’t played it for years; however it is defiantly one of my favorites!  Now, I am not very good at scrabble, haha, but I love playing it.  Clue is another favorite board game.  I guess I like mystery games!

Top 5 Favorite Restaurants

Taco Bell…I could eat there everyday…not joke.  The Crunch Wrap Supreme or a couple Big Taste Tacos, or pretty much anything on the menu…love it all.  Don’t forget the Fire sauce!
Now who doesn’t like Chipotle?  I actually had to build up a likeness for Chipotle.  I hated it the first time.  But then it became a routine place to eat with all the friends.  Learned to love it!
To fulfill my love for steak, I have to say that Texas Road House wins.  And the sweet butter for rolls is the best!
Adornettos is my favorite Italian restaurant because of their salads and angel hair spaghetti.
The best place to go for happy hour… Tlaquepaque!  A margarita sounds really good right now.

Top 5 Favorite TV Shows

Andy Griffith probably has to be my favorite TV show of all time.  This classic comedy series never fails at making me laugh.  However, it just isn’t the same when Don Knotts leaves the show.
The Walton is another one of my favorite TV shows.  I’m not too sure why I like this 1970s series.  It might be that I enjoy the simple life of this family during the great depression and WWII.  My mother is also to blame for my love of old, classic movies and TV series.
My next favorite series takes a big jump! Gilmore Girls!  Every character in this show has a completely different personality.  And wow!...this show is non-stop talking!  Kind of exhausting, but I love it!
House and NCIS are also favorites of mine.  Even though some people get annoyed of House’s (Hugh Laurie) obnoxious personality, I never get tired of it.  He is hilarious.  The scenarios portrayed in NCIS are always interesting.  This is a show definitely one of those that I can turn on when there is absolutely nothing else on and can be enjoyed.  Plus, I really like Pauley Perrette’s (Abby) character.

Top 5 Favorite Holidays

The 4th of July! The reason why this is my favorite holiday is because of the five Fs: family, friends, food, fun, and FIREWORKS!  I love fireworks.  There are so many great memories, growing up, revolving around this summer holiday.  I love summer, and our entire family gets together and we feast and watch fireworks set off by the surrounding towns.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are both holidays full of family time as well.  My entire family and extended family is extremely close and we celebrate major holidays with a capital C!
And who doesn’t like Halloween?   Playing dress-up is a game most people have to admit that they played as a child.  It’s still fun decades later!
Labor Day is included in my top 5 because every year our family takes a fruit stand to Swappers Day.  Swappers’ Day is a huge flea market bringing in numerous different vendors.  And gotta love the dog races that begin at 2pm!  This three day event holds so many memories over the years.
